Five is the comfortable default, and it is what most agents can actually keep up with. During setup Claude also works out the number that would bring your whole database around once a quarter, based on how many contacts you really have, and tells you both. Some mornings you will want a bigger batch. Say “give me ten today” and you get ten.
Two things have to be true.
A paid Claude plan
Pro or higher. The Opus model is paid only, and it is the one that runs your setup. On the free plan this cannot run at all. You can upgrade at claude.ai/settings, then quit and reopen the app.
Your AI OS, finished

About 20 minutes start to finish, and most of that is Claude working while you watch. Your part is the six steps below.
Download the file
Do not unzip it. Leave it exactly as it downloads. Claude opens it for you.
Open the Claude desktop app
Not your browser. If you do not have it yet, get it at claude.ai/download and sign in.
Make a Project called Prospecting OS
Click Projects in the sidebar, then New Project, and name it exactly Prospecting OS. This Project is your office. The whole system lives here.
Add the downloaded file with the + button
Add that one file. Later on, Claude will ask you for one more thing: your Compass contacts. Nothing else, ever. Do not open or extract this one.
Set the model to Opus, then say this
Use the model picker near the message box and choose Opus. Then send the sentence below.

Type it into the message box in your Prospecting OS Project and press enter.
Export your Compass contacts when Claude asks
Your only real homework, and it takes about a minute. Claude tells you exactly where to click. In Compass: Contacts, then Actions, then Export, with the include-notes toggle switched on.
Claude will ask you to add that file to the Project, and at one point to approve a permission so it can schedule your morning brief. Both are one click. Everything else is Claude working while you watch: building your database, learning how you write, drafting your first brief, and scoring your book of business.
Interrupted partway?
Nothing is lost. Open your Prospecting OS Project whenever you come back and say continue my setup. Claude remembers exactly which step you were on and picks up there.
How you know it worked.
When setup finishes, look at your left sidebar. Your Morning Brief will be sitting there in your scheduled tasks. That is what installed looks like.
If it is not there, it is not running. Claude checks for it before it tells you setup is done, and it will fix it with you rather than leaving you guessing.
You are not installing a second morning brief
It is the same one, upgraded. Your AI OS brief read your inbox and your calendar. This one also drafts replies to your new leads and warm notes to your past clients while you sleep. Setup finds the brief you already have and improves it in place, so you still get exactly one each morning.
