What is Prospecting OS and what does it do for me?It works the database you already have, every morning.
Prospecting OS is an assistant that works the book of business you already have. Every morning it answers your new leads, reconnects the ones that went quiet, and keeps your past clients warm.
It writes in your voice, as drafts. You read them and hit send. Nothing leaves your inbox without you.
Do I have to finish my AI OS first? Yes.
Yes. Prospecting OS installs into your AI OS Assistant Project and builds on it, and your Constitution and your Voice carry straight over, which is why this install is short. Without your AI OS there is nowhere for it to live.

Do I need a new Project for this? No. It moves in with your AI OS.
No. Prospecting OS installs into the AI OS Assistant Project you already have, so everything about your business lives in one place. You add the download there, say “set me up,” and that is the whole move.
Do I need a paid Claude plan? Yes, Pro or higher.
Yes, Pro or higher. The Opus model is paid only and it is the one that runs your setup. On the free plan this cannot run. You can upgrade at claude.ai/settings, then quit and reopen the app.
I do not use Gmail. Can I still get this? Yes, through a one-on-one session.
Prospecting OS is built specifically for Gmail, so the standard install will not work for you. Email your Coaching Success Manager and they will set up a one-on-one implementation session with one of our team to work out a setup for you.
Do I need my Compass export ready beforehand? No, Claude walks you through it.
No. Claude walks you through it during setup and the export itself takes about thirty seconds. The one thing that matters is turning on the include-notes toggle, and Claude will remind you.
Is my Compass CRM the same thing as Compass AI? No, two different products.
No, they are two different products. This uses the contact export out of your Compass CRM, the place your contacts already live. Compass AI is separate and is not involved here.
Privacy and control
Is my client data safe? Yes. It stays in your own Claude.
Your export and your database are files inside your own Claude Project. They are never put in Google Drive, never turned into a shared spreadsheet, never emailed, and never published.
Your book of business stays yours, in your own Claude.
Will it email my clients without me? No, and it cannot.
No, and it cannot. Everything it writes is a draft sitting in your Gmail Drafts folder. You read it, edit it if you want, and press send yourself.
If you ask it to send something for you, it will decline and point you at the draft instead.
Will it contact my vendors and other agents by mistake? No.
No. Anyone Claude is not sure about gets set aside for review, and nothing in the system will ever draft to a contact on that list. Your title rep, your lender, your photographer and every no-reply address land there.
Nobody is deleted. Say “show me my review list” to see who is there, grouped by the reason. One sentence brings anyone back, like “move Denise Okafor to Past Client.”
It also works the other way. Someone with a title company or lender email address who has a property and a closing date on file is treated as the real relationship they are, because those people are often your best referral sources.
Is AI going to replace me? No.
No. It works on the repetitive parts of your day so you can spend your time on clients. The relationship is still yours, and every message still goes out from you, because you are the one pressing send.
The honest version: agents who use it well spend less time keeping up with admin. The ones doing all of it by hand end up with more to get through, not less.
After you install
Why am I installing a second morning brief? You are not. It is the same one, upgraded.
You are not. It is the same one, upgraded. Your AI OS brief read your inbox and your calendar. This one also drafts replies to your new leads and warm notes to your past clients while you sleep.
Setup finds the brief you already have and improves it in place, so you still get exactly one each morning. If you ever do end up with two, say “Read COACH.md and help me” and Claude will sort it out.
How do I know it actually worked? Your X-Ray appears on screen.
Look at your left sidebar. Your Morning Brief will be sitting there in your scheduled tasks. That is what installed looks like.
If it is not there, it is not running. Claude checks for it before it tells you setup is finished.
Why five people a day?It is the comfortable default. Ask for more any morning.
Five is the comfortable default and it is what most agents can actually keep up with.
Claude also works out the number that would bring your whole database around once a quarter, based on how many contacts you have, and tells you both so you can decide. Any morning you want a bigger batch, say “give me ten today.” If you want a different everyday number, just say so once and it sticks.
Why does it say sixty days when my cycle is quarterly?Sixty days is when someone becomes due, not overdue.
Quarterly is the target. The sixty-day floor is a guardrail underneath it, so nobody ever hears from you twice inside two months by accident.
Does my database update itself from Compass? No, it is a snapshot.
No, it is a snapshot rather than a live connection. Re-export from Compass monthly or quarterly, pick one and put it on your calendar, add the fresh file to your AI OS Assistant Project, and say “fresh export, update my database.”
Your notes, your tags and your contact history are all kept. A refresh adds and fills in, it never overwrites what is already there and it never deletes anyone.
